Engine (Power)
The engine in each trim is a 3.5-liter V-6 direct-injection Atkinson-cycle engine with 278 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute (rpm)/265 pound-feet of torque at 4,600 rpm. You can also find all three of the trims have a 3.5-liter V-6 DOHC 24-valve direct-injection Atkinson-cycle engine with a Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wider Intake (VVT-iW), and Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Exhaust (VVT-i). You can expect to find that each of the trims is a super ultra-low emission vehicle. The transmission on this car is a six-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i).
Performance
With a great ground clearance of 9.5 for each trim level, you can travel over obstacles, such as mud, rocks, or hills, and sustain minimal vehicle damage. The SR and The Limited have a 29-degree approach, a 23.5-degree departure, and a 21-degree break-over angle. While the TRD Off-Road has a 32-degree approach, a 23.5-degree departure, and a 21-degree break-over angle. If you want a truck with a Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), all three trim levels have it. Enjoy an electronically controlled locking rear differential when you choose the TRD Off-Road.
Interior
