The new Toyota Land Cruiser - Modern Versatility meets Classic Functionality

Vienna and Fairfax drivers looking for a vehicle that is equal parts off-road cruiser and big city hauler can look to the new Toyota Land Cruiser with confidence.

Featuring a single engine option that takes the form of a 5.7-liter V8 engine, a bundle of driver assistance features (Toyota Safety Sense P), and standard all-wheel drive, the Toyota Land Cruiser is ready to take on much more than just the city streets of Vienna. Continuing in the steps of its predecessors, the latest iteration of the Land Cruiser stays continues to offer Chantilly drivers off-road capability, serious interior space, and suave styling.

The Toyota Land Cruiser - A Storied History

The Land Cruiser stretches back to 1957, with the first iteration of the vehicle appearing as the FJ25. While it looks drastically different than the new Land Cruiser, the FJ25 bears a few hints of inspiration that can still be seen in the new Land Cruiser. Featuring two doors, a removeable roof, and angular exterior styling, the FJ25 was the first whisper that of a vehicle that would eventually turn into the Land Cruiser. Thirteen years after the FJ25, Toyota released the FJ40. The two-box hardtop and safari-like exterior looks brought Leesburg drivers a unforgettable modern SUV. In 1977 the FJ45 appeared and introduced a truck version of previous Land Cruiser. 1986 and 1988 saw two Land Cruiser relatives appear: the FJ60 (1986) and FJ62 (1988). They both dropped the truck body styling and opted for a longer covered rear, introducing the inspiration for the new Land Cruiser body styling. 1992 brought the FZJ80 OZ; 2007 brought the return of the truck Land Cruiser with the VDJ79; 2013 brought the Land Cruiser; and 2019 lands us with the 2019 Land Cruiser.
